The Owners
Oak Mountain Tree & Trim was started by a father and son, Nolan and Chip Mercer, who own the company and work the jobs themselves. They take pride in the cut, the cleanup and what the yard looks like when the truck pulls away.

- Hazard limbs — broken, hanging or storm-damaged limbs over the roof, the drive or the power line.
- Trimming — clearance pruning and canopy thinning that keeps the tree healthy and your roofline, fence and sight lines clear.
- Felling — open-ground drops, planned, roped and dropped where we say they will land.
- Removals — tight-quarters takedowns piece by piece, from the top down, with the yard raked out behind us.
- Firewood delivery — split firewood delivered and stacked where you want it.

Are you insured? Yes, fully insured on every job, and glad to show proof.
What does an estimate cost? Nothing. Estimates are free with no obligation.
Can you price it over the phone? It depends, but we will most likely need to lay eyes on it. Text a photo and your address and we will go from there.
What areas do you serve? Birmingham, Alabama and all surrounding areas.
Do you grind stumps? Not ourselves, but we will sub it out to a stump grinding specialist.
What happens to the wood and brush? It leaves with us unless you want the rounds for firewood.
Storm damage? Storm and hazard calls go to the front of the line.
How do I pay? Cash, check, Venmo or Zelle, due when the work is finished.
Do you sell firewood? Yes. Split firewood, delivered and stacked.
